Lots of renovation being done. So far the rooms that have been updated are pretty nice. Although, the design has been somewhat an afterthought for the microwave and coffee pot as they are placed awkwardly in the shelves below the tv. I hope they consider something more mini-kitchenette like next remodel
The facility is being remodeled and things will be better in coming months. Our room is done and it's nice. The problem is using fitted sheets that are too small, so as soon as you get in bed, the bottom sheet and pad come loose and you either get up to tuck everything in AGAIN, or you get to sleep on the bare mattress. Happens when you turn in bed during the night. Not a restful time.
I loved this hotel. The staff was super nice and the rooms were beautiful!
We were promised a room with a jacuzzi. 2 days before our arrival date we were contacted and told the room was no longer available. We were told there was a jacuzzi in the hotel and a heated pool. They had neither. We were also told we would get a nights stay in any hampton inn on them for the inconvenience. Guess what? We didnt get it either. We never received maid service so we had to stack our trash by the trash can which was only big enough to hold a 2 liter bottle. The staff took on a we never do anything wrong attitude. We will be staying at a different hotel in the future.
The hotel is located next to several others but definitely stands out. Inside has a very homey feel to it with a complementary self serve breakfast. There is also a little pool and workout room. Our room was newly renovated and was very clean. My only complaint was that the bathroom fan wasn't working and the bathroom door closed but had spaces so I didn't feel like I had complete privacy.
