Chicken n livers were GREAT, okra was old, not fresh at all.
I love Golden Chick. Ever since I discovered it in 2015. I've made it my go to chicken restaurant. Batter is crunchy and delicious. Bone in chicken is good but I tend to go for the strips with extra "Lotta Zing" seasoning. Which is a main factor behind why I keep coming back. Nice selection of sides. Great gravy and dinner rolls. Get extra ! This store is also always clean when I go and there's a TV to keep children occupied if you eat inside. Also they give you a free ice cream cone if you dine in as well. Give it a try. They also are now offering a $5 dollar value menu which is the current fast food trend.
Love the food and the fast and friendly service! Can't go wrong with anything you order. Complimentary ice cream for dine in customer only! Typically very clean. My kids live eating here.
My whole family got sick after eating here Tuesday. Tried calling the store to let them know and was hung up on, after explaining half of what happened to the manager on duty. They seemed unconcerned and acted like I was just trying to get a free meal which is the last thing I want from someplace that made me sick. I was trying to make them aware of the situation. Definitely never going back.
Great chicken, ice tea is awesome. Customer service has dropped off! New leadership maybe? Poor attitudes, sorry to experience!
