Years back I started getting all my phones at Best Buy because they have the best salespeople. I feel like the phone company folks are just trying to get the most money out of me, but the Best Buy employees listen to what I actually need, find me a good product, and then try to make sure I'm getting the best promotional deal currently available for that phone.
Good job guys! This was on June 30th at approx 8:30pm at the Midwest city, OK location.
The Cashier then apologized and contacted security to inform them of what had transpired.
First of all I was returning an item I received as a gift and did not need it nor like how heavy it was. The associate told me "I can't return anything without a receipt" then proceeded to ask if I had the person's name or number so it can be looked up and to see if they have a best buy rewards." I stated no of course as I feel that is invading into someone's information without them knowing. I then asked for a manager which this associate had to go inform the manager before he got to me. Needless to say the manager was nice and did the return for me. However, things would have went smoother if the best buy associates could be trained in a way of instead of telling the customer I" can't and best buy won't" they should state "I'm not able to do that.... However let me get my manager and they maybe able to." The customer world is tough but if less people didn't say I can't it could be better along with Best buy keeping it's customers because the more the policy changes the less customers they will have.
I visited the Midwest City store this past Saturday. I was needing to update some office equipment. I had the best experience! The sales people were friendly & very knowledgeable. They helped me get exactly what I needed! I will definitely revisit this store location!
My wife and I just purchased a 65" curved Samsung TV and Polk Sound Bar. Joseph was our sales person and he was very helpful and he helped us make our decision about the home entertainment system.
The phone company also acts like it's a chore to transfer my files and settings to the new phone and try to convince me to do it myself using their app. Best Buy folks, on the other hand, are always happy to transfer my info over and make my phone transition as seamless as possible.
I was very Impressed by the way everyone was able to handle the situation without exacerbating it to further conflict.
I was in line and a lady was buying 4 of the same phones, so I asked her how much they were since I am looking to replace my phone. She started saying I was the one she just talked to and was cussing and making everyone feel extremely uncomfortable. I took a few steps back cause I honestly thought she was going to attack me or something. Her friends then came back and said "What is it"? To which she replied "he's trying to act like I didn't just (explicit*) see him and just talk to him"! I replied I'm sorry but I don't work here, she continued on in an aggressive matter and eventually left with her friends telling to her "come on".
